Expanded donor demographics needed
for blood draw services

Starting soon, eScreen™ will request ordering physician approval when blood collection
services are scheduled. This update creates an easier post-collection process and improves
turnaround time. To facilitate this process and offer you the benefits of the electronic lab
requisition, we will need to collect additional information about a scheduled donor.

Customers scheduling through the eScreen portals, myescreen.com and eScreenGo, will see
these new fields in the donor demographics step of the scheduling processes.  We will be
doing outreach directly to our integration partners to coordinate collecting this information
through any third-party scheduling tools

The following donor information will be required:

• Date of birth
• Phone number
• Address
• City
• State
• Zip code

The following donor information will remain optional:

• Gender

The new field requirements apply to all blood collection services.  Below is a list of the most
common services.
